Reverse Flanged & Dished

Reversed flanged and dished tank heads are comprised of both a concave dish radius and a knuckle radius. They are often used on the ends of vessels that face against a plane surface, such as steel vessels on concrete slabs. These tank heads offer the advantage of a load-bearing surface as well as the additional strength from dishing.
